Tom and Becky Daniel, in order to host missionaries in the majestic Rockies, in 2004 bought a 9000' high house by the national forest north of “America's mountain” Pike's Peak. SPIRITUAL GUIDANCE courses and 25 years in Asia have prepared them to advocate for the cross-cultural ministry family. Dr. Thomas D. Daniel in 1976 planted a church in his hometown of Phoenix. He received the D. Min. degree from SWBTS in 1987. Appointed in 1978 by Southern Baptists to South Korea, he used his teaching gift to train Christians to start 50 churches in 14 years before moving to Uzbekistan for 5 years to mentor church planters and develop seminary curriculum. He engaged with the gospel the Muslims of New Delhi as Strategy Coordinator 1998-2001, before returning to lead for 3 years the Korea Baptist Mission Mobilization and Training Team. In 2003 he left the mission field as a conscientious objector after 25 years training Korean pastors and missionaries. Becky Bowen Daniel has used her gift of mercy to encourage hurting missionaries. She grew up playing piano for Pueblo Indian churches her Southern Baptist home missionary father James established in New Mexico. She met both the Lord Jesus Christ and Tom at Grand Canyon College in Phoenix where they graduated in 1973. God transformed Becky in 1983 and called her to the intercessory ministry. She has trained and led English and Korean speaking women in prayer walking in various locations throughout Asia. She was the missionary team prayer coordinator. She bore Jacob (1979), Kathy (1981) and Kimberly (1985) in Korea where they were schooled through graduation at Taejon Christian International High School.  |
